Summer Student Nurse Extern Program

This is a full time program that includes an orientation and clinical work on a designated unit.

As a Student Nurse Extern, you will be introduced to an environment that fosters excellence in all areas of nursing. By participating in this program (starting in June) you will acquire hands-on clinical experience as well as earn a competitive salary. We accept applications beginning February 8. The deadline for application is March 8, 2013. The program will start June 3, 2013.

Due to the large number of applications we receive for this program, incomplete applications will not be entertained. We are not able to accept application materials sent via fax, email or regular mail. All your application materials must be submitted online, attached to your application. Only qualified applicants with complete application packages will be invited to interview. Job offers will be made prior to the deadline, so you are encouraged to apply early.

Eligibility ... you must be enrolled in a BSN Program, have completed one medical/surgical clinical semester, and have a cumulative average of 3.5 or higher, with no "C" grades in Nursing and Science Courses.

If your science pre-requisites were taken at another institution, we will need those transcripts attached as well.
