Overview of Benefits

Orientation: In addition to a comprehensive 8-10 week orientation program, which includes a preceptorship experience, our progressive, innovative Nursing Education Department provides continuing education on a 24-hour basis.

Financial: Competitive salary based on a four-step clinical ladder, years of experience, education, a generous shift differential, conference reimbursement, and an annual bonus for specialty certification.

Educational: Our focus on learning carries over to our educational benefits. After six months of full-time employment, tuition remission of 24 credits a year towards nursing degrees is available at NYU College of Nursing; tuition reimbursement of $5,000 per year towards nursing degrees at other institutions is also provided. (Federal regulations requiring taxation of education benefits apply to both tuition remission and tuition reimbursements.)

Health, Retirement, & Paid Time Off: Comprehensive medical, dental, and prescription drug plans are provided. All RNs are eligible to participate in a voluntary tax-deferred (403b) program. An excellent vacation/holiday and sick leave package is also provided.
