Research & Quality

Nurses at NYU Hospitals Center are involved in a wide range research related activities, including evaluation studies of innovative clinical initiatives, quality performance and improvement projects, infusion of evidence-based practice elements into all standards of care, as well as theoretically driven research studies. The commitment to nursing research and evidence-based practice reflect the institution's commitment to excellence in nursing practice and patient care.

A collaboration between nurses and librarians resulted in the development of an information literacy tutorial for nurse to improve their skills at searching the literature for various clinical topics. Please click here for the tutorial.
